~ MARCH 15TH MINISTRY STUDENT, DELL ROSE, JOINS OUR CONGREGATION: Please help to make Dell feel welcome as he learns from Rev. Renee and congregational life along with each of you. Dell will be with us once a month beginning March 15th and will worship with us monthly for two years as part of his training for ordination.

~ ONLINE BIBLE STUDY WEDNESDAYS 2:30-3:30PM: Our congregation continues to join the weekly Bible Study series from 2:30pm-3:30pm on Wednesdays with church member, Dorie Litchfield, led by her husband Pastor Glenn of Kendall United Methodist Church. ~ VOLUNTEER / PARTICIPATION NEEDED THIS COLD WINTER AND EARLY SPRING AT SOUTH OAKLAND CITIZENS FOR THE HOMELESS (SOCH): SOCH is located at what used to be the Starr Presbyterian Church building, located on the corner of 13 Mile and Crooks in Royal Oak. The SOCH and its Welcome Inn Day Center is the only low-barrier wintertime day center in South Oakland County. ADULT SPRING RETREAT @ ALMONT NEW CHURCH RETREAT CENTER FRIDAY, MARCH 20-SUNDAY, MARCH 22, 2026: 

We hope that you will join us for our annual adult spring retreat to refresh and renew  your spirit as we become the Holy City with Rev. Sage Cole offering her unfolding church ministry: "Be Love, Be Honest, Be Useful." Theme: "Light in My Darkness." More details about the schedule and registration coming soon! ST. PATTY’S CONCERT SUNDAY, MARCH 15, 4:00PM: Come to the First Congregational Church of Royal Oak to enjoy an afternoon of Irish & Scottish Music with a variety of instruments & musical styles, both traditional & contemporary! Church member, Karen Burke, will perform with her musical group of friends! Free will donation. Wear your green and be ready to sing along and have lots of fun! Refreshments will be available.

~ CHURCH OF THE SOUTHWEST DESERT & PAWNEE ROCK KANSAS CHURCH JOINS ROYAL OAK CHURCH SERVICES While the Church of the Southwest Desert in Silver City, New Mexico, waits for a minister to serve their congregation, and while the Pawnee Rock Church of the New Jerusalem seeks a variety of worship resources, both congregations will worship with us occasionally by watching our services - recorded on youtube. Their time zones are pacific and central and take place earlier than ours - so they will watch and worship when they gather. We will include them in prayer and stay in touch with their congregations as sister churches in our denomination.

~ 11am EASTER SUNDAY CELEBRATION: We hope that you and your family will join us on Easter morning to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord with special music offered by musician Karen Burke, an Easter Children's message & Craft and an Adult Easter message, followed by our annual Easter Tea Social. Raffle Easter Basket will benefit the Wayfarer's Chapel fundraising campaign.
